The Case for Independence

Why Run? Why Independent?

Government should serve the people — and representatives should answer to their district before any party.

“You deserve representation that listens, responds, and remembers who it serves.”

KathleenMae Rogers is running for Missouri’s 4th Congressional District as an independent candidate. Government should serve the people, and representatives should prioritize their district over partisan politics.

Communities feel overlooked while national politics focuses on division. The district faces rising costs, limited growth, and a government that feels disconnected. Small towns and rural areas need investment; workers need opportunity; families need stability; communities deserve clean air, water, and environmental protection.

The American people — our families, neighbors, workers, farmers, veterans, and communities — are the ones who build and sustain this country. Companies and political parties are not people. In America, power belongs to the people.

Americans deserve the basics: the opportunity to work, provide for their families, and pursue their happiness.
